I think a Decentralised approach to wastewater management and water re-use can help address both energy consumption and water scarcity issues.
Dr. Adil Bushnak estimates that a decentralised wastewater system incorporating greater water reuse could lead to dramatic savings in investment costs in Saudi Arabia.
