Windmill Lane: Recording the score for our upcoming film: Our Blue World
This week, I had the privilege to witness something truly extraordinary at the Windmill Lane Recording Studios in Dublin. As our executive producer, I had the honour of observing 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲, the original composer of Brave Blue World, conduct the score for our upcoming film, Our Blue World. 🎶

It was an unforgettable experience to see each moment of the film come alive with the emotive power of a live orchestra. The music, meticulously crafted to reflect the emotional depth of water, brought out the essence of every individual story portrayed on screen. The attention to detail and the sheer professionalism displayed throughout the session were nothing short of awe-inspiring.
“The character and tone of Our Blue World is enhanced by an original music score performed live by a concert orchestra and featuring notes and voices of world music,” encapsulates the essence of the project. The score, designed to be moving, powerful, and uplifting, adds an additional layer of depth to the narrative.
The vision of Our Blue World is coming to life, this film celebrates the beauty and importance of water through the universal language of music.

It’s not every day that you experience dreams come true, but yesterday was such a day. We recorded the musical score for the Our Blue World water documentary, with composer Anna Rice at the legendary Windmill Lane Studios with a live orchestra. Every scene was brought to life and perfectly scored to deepen the emotional impact of the stories. I was in awe at the level professionalism and the attention to detail.

I look forward to seeing many friends new and old to celebrate the premier in New York on Earth Day, April 22nd. The film celebrates our relationship with water and how working together we can regenerate our water systems.
