The 2012 BlueTech Forum Showcase Winners — Ecolyse and Water Remediation Technology (WRT) — will be part of the debut WEFTEC Innovation Pavilion at Water Environment Federation’s 85th Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference September 29 – October 3, 2012 in New Orleans, La.

Developed through a WEF, BlueTech Research, and Imagine H2O partnership, the Innovation Pavilion, which is a key part of the WEFTEC Innovation Showcase, will house ten award-winning companies offering innovative and disruptive products and services. Featured exhibitors include finalists and winners of the 2012 BlueTech Forum Showcase and the Imagine H2O Water Innovation Prize, in addition to Imagine H2O and BlueTech Research.

Ecolyse, a company that provides phage-based biocontrol products to remediate pipeline corrosion, reservoir souring and ethanol production disruption, won the 2012 BlueTech Showcase Disrupt-o-Meter™ Award for the most disruptive technologyWater Remediation Technology (WRT), a premier water treatment company that provides a complete service to remove radionucleides from groundwater, won the 2012 BlueTech Showcase Go-to-Market Strategy Award.

Each company housed in the Innovation Pavilion will have an opportunity to pitch their product at the Pavilion Theatre. Ecolyse, WRT, and BlueTech Research will be presenting Tuesday, October 2 from 1 p.m. – 2 pm and Imagine H2O and winning companies will be presenting 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Operator Ingenuity Contest winners and WEF Innovative Technology Award winners (WEF Associate Members who have introduced new innovative products or services related to the construction, operation, or maintenance of treatment facilities) will also be presenting at the Pavilion Theater.

The Innovation Pavilion companies will also be a part of the Innovation Showcase Matchmaking Reception, Monday, October 1 from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm for investors, strategic partners, entrepreneurs, and end users the time to get to know the ideas, products, and needs in the industry in a relaxed and energetic gathering.
